"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

HI, Thanks for having a look at my humble attempts. I hope to add more soon. The big difference between GIMP and Photoshop for me is that I can afford GIMP.
Yep. Bet you didn't know Sony Imageworks(one of THE most major vfx houses in the world, which I happened to intern at ) has GIMP , not Photoshop, on their linux computers. There's a nice bit of supporting trivia for you!

Cool bit of info I got hooked on GIMP when I was using a Linux computer for a couple of years. I still use a lot of open-source programs, like Blender and OO.org I loved Linux! I still miss my KDE desktop
